Trendy and spotless room, satisfactory breakfasts. Exceptionally comfortable beds, perfect after a long day in Gibraltar. Stunning location for our visit to a mountain cable car not very far from the hotel. Liked nice area.

The rooms and the hotel still exude the charm of yesteryear, the terrace and the view were very beautiful
There were too few tables at breakfast, which reduced waiting times, the staff was friendly and tried hard but overwhelmed. There were also ants in the bathroom.

Very good location! Magnificent view. Friendly, uncomplicated reception.
Restaurant staff rather grumpy - not according to the promised class.

great views and close to cable car and parks
I really enjoyed my time at this beautiful hotel with fine views and excellent service, where I could easily walk to the cable car and the nearby botanic gardens for a leisurely afternoon stroll.

Nice big rooms, big bathroom, good bed with very good mattresses. Great view to the sea
Traffic noise with the window open was quite loud. No German TV program, but 2 TV in the room.

There was generous and plentiful breakfasts with cakes and both menu's, as for instance.

Couples looking for old-world charm should consider this
We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who upgraded us to a 3 room suite with large veranda and superb view of the harbour. The hotel is old and historic but spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was huge.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

A nice location with wonderful views, easy walking distance to the city
90% of the staff need a personality transplant, very poor service and nobody smiles or welcomes you

Extremley dissapointed, your discription, 'stunning sea view' is very misleading, the view is of a military boatyard and oil refinary and the smell was so bad you could not use the tiny balcony anyway.. a black cloud of polution the only thing to see...the paint pealing off the walls, really this place should now be closed down. The air con, the TV and the ceiling fan all did not work and the toilet flush broke...it was a nighmare! Never again.

The location was perfect, with an very nice view from our balcony. The pool area is fantastic, and we loved the complementary spring water in our room. The bathrooms are fabulous, and we appreciated the nice teas and coffee supplied daily.
